ColliCare is an international organization of Norwegian origin with offices in now 11 countries, within and outside Europe with a complete range of logistics services. ColliCare NL has two offices: Maassluis and Groningen. In Maassluis we provide our services in sea freight. In Groningen, where you will be working, you will be part of the Road Transport and Air Cargo department as Expeditor. Within ColliCare this department is responsible for forwarding, storage and distribution. The focus is on creating customized solutions within the logistics chain from producer to delivered to the consumer.
About this job
So what will you be doing in this job? As an expeditor, you will work independently for our branch. You are a real entrepreneur and excel as an intermediary, and you enjoy it when you can have the goods transported in the fastest and most efficient way. Negotiating the right price, quality and responding to supply and demand is always the order of the day. You don't shy away from negotiations and are only satisfied when the picture is right for us and especially for the customer. Hectic is part of your "game" and under time pressure you always deliver quality. If you see opportunities for improvement, you come up with a refreshing plan, and you get to work with your colleagues. You are also attentive to what is happening around you and help where you can.
Your duties in brief

making and planning transport orders;
-
Maintaining contact with suppliers and carriers and process any results;

resolving daily changes with regard to the shipping department and recording them if necessary;
-
Monitoring and identifying market developments and providing feedback to management;
-
improving and optimizing the quality of the forwarding department;
-
taking care of an optimal supervision, purchase and sale of transports;
-
making one-off tariffs and coordinating sales in consultation with the Sales department;
-
Developing contacts with potential and existing customers.
What we ask of you
-
You love the world of transport and its fast switching and puzzling. In addition, you have a commercial attitude and recognize yourself largely in the following points:

At least a completed MBO+ or HBO education;
-
Knowledge of the shipping industry;
-
Accurate and customer friendly;
-
Able to switch quickly and have a helicopter view;
-
Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing. If you also speak German, you have a head start;
-
Knowledge and use of computer with various software;
-
Good communication and social skills;
-
Stress resistant and solution oriented.
